Macgellan is at sea, crossing the Pacific Ocean from New Zealand to North America aboard the Marfret Provence. He will be completely off-line until he lands sometime mid-May. Meanwhile, this is a great time to go back in the archives and review all of the great exploration he has done over the past 625 days -- and counting! -- on The Voyage of Macgellan!
Hi!
Cool trip you're making! I'm very jealous ;)
I'm a freight traveler myself. I was a passenger on the CMA CGM Otello from Shanghai to Rotterdam. A French vessel, 341 meters long, 8200 containers. Great trip especially the Suez Canal! Funny thing is that Hamish booked my trip! He's a nice guy, isn't he? However, next time I'll book the trip straight from the ship's office, not through a travel agency, it's less expensive.
So what do you do on the ship during the day?
Enjoy the trip!
God, I'm so jealous! hahaha
